Every Tropic purchase, funds education for children living in some of the world’s poorest, most remote communities. When you purchase your Tropic skincare and make up you are supporting children’s education in Cambodia, Myanmar and Nepal because for every £50 of orders we donate one school day.
We launched this initiative in September 2019 and we are committed to donating one million school days by the end of 2020. By working in partnership with United World Schools we are helping to teach the unreached.
Tropic’s values and Infinite Purpose is to help create a healthier, greener, more empowered world. This purpose closely aligns with United World Schools (UWS) who are a UK based charity committed ‘to improve, through education, life opportunities for some of the world’s poorest children living in remote and marginalised communities’.
UWS are teaching the unreached through opportunity, education and empowerment.
Education transforms lives.
United World Schools (UWS) works in some of the world’s poorest regions to give every child access to free education. They partner with local communities and supporters around the world to establish primary schools and teach the unreached in remote parts of South Asia.
For students, learning to count, read and write in the national language opens the door to a whole world of opportunity. Many of UWS’ students move on to secondary education or enter vocations that were previously out of reach. Since they began in 2009, UWS have enrolled over 30,000 children into over 150 schools.
